Sunday worship at 9:30 a.m.

Our Ministries

Ministry of Worship
Regular Sunday worship takes place at 9:30 a.m., with Holy Communion offered on the second and fourth Sundays of the month. (Seasonal services will be posted on this website.) The invitation to communion is open to all who seek it; you need not be a Lutheran or a member of St. Paul’s.

Ministry of the Word
Members of the congregation participate in the worship service as readers of the assigned scriptural lessons. A sign-up sheet for readers is at the back of the church, along with a copy of the weekly lessons.

Ministry of the Sacraments
Members of the Altar Guild rotate in the duties of preparing the sanctuary and altar for communion and baptisms, and decorating for the church seasons. If you are interested in serving on the Altar Guild, please contact Mandy Moravec 507/319-4444 or Pastor Karl.

Ministry of Youth & Education
Sunday School is offered after worship (10:30 a.m.) during the school year.

Middle School and High School Youth are supported by a dedicated group of parents and adults for a variety of activities.  A number of St Paul’s youth attended the most recent ELCA National Youth Gathering in Houston, Texas.  Plans will soon be underway to attend the next gathering.

Confirmation is held on Reformation Sunday in October.

Ministry of Service
In addition to the many ways in which members of the congregation serve their church and community, the St. Paul’s Church Council takes seriously the Lutheran tradition of the “Ministry of the Laity.” The Council has responsibility for the support of the congregation’s ministries, and the care of the building and grounds. If you have any questions or issues for the church council, please contact President Jill Steffen. (see “Contacts”).
